FAQs

1

Oops! We missed a class. Can we make it up?

Of course! Depending upon space in alternate classes, you are welcome to come in for a make-up class during your 8 week session. Please check with a staff member in advance.
2

Uh oh. A session has already started, is it too late to sign up?

Not at all! We would love for you to still join us. If a session has already started, we will prorate the price based on the number of classes that remain in the session.
3

I’m in! How do I register for a session?

4

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, all participants are required to sign a waiver before the start of each session. You can complete the waiver online here.
5

How will I know if you are closed?

Little Buttercups follows the Westwood Public School’s calendar for closings/holidays and all school vacation.
6

Is my registration fee refundable if I’m not able to attend a session I registered for?

We completely understand that sometimes things happen at the last minute. For a full refund, kindly give us at least 10 days notice prior to the start of your session so that we can offer the space to another family. Otherwise, we are happy to offer you a credit for a future session within a 3-month period.

Why is the Buttercups class 75 minutes and other classes offered are 60 minutes?

That’s a great question! The Buttercups class runs for 75 minutes because we include a snack time following Gathering Time. This offers your little one the opportunity to practice sharing a “meal” with their playmates while also focusing on language and motor development, self-help skills, and table manners. Please bring a nut free snack each class as well as a water bottle for your Buttercup. We will always have extra nut free snacks available as well!

Tell me more about the Mixed Little Buttercups class. How is it different than other class offerings?

Mixed Little Buttercups is a multi-age class for little ones 6-36 months. It's the perfect class for siblings or friends of varying ages that would like to attend the same class. The curriculum/developmental activities offered will be differentiated according to each developmental stage. This class provides a great opportunity for the younger ones to observe and learn from the older ones and also gives the older kiddos the opportunity to be leaders/helpers to the younger kiddos. It's win-win!
9

Can my Little Buttercup's sibling join the class also?

This is a very popular question! Our program is for little ones between the ages of 6-36 months. Infants are always welcome and cherished at Little Buttercups. Once your child is old enough to participate in class activities we ask you attend a Mixed Little Buttercups class. This class offering is perfect for siblings between the ages of 6-36 months.

Hmm...I have 2 kiddos that I would like to enroll. Does Little Buttercups offer a sibling discount?

Yes, we do!! Little Buttercups offers a 20% discount for the second child enrolled. Please give us a ring or send an email with any further questions.

Does Little Buttercups have a sick policy?

Yes! To prevent the spread of illness and help keep our little ones happy & healthy, we ask you to refrain from coming to class if your child is showing signs of a communicable illness. This includes a heavy runny nose, persistent cough, fever, diarrhea, etc. Please wait 48 hours after symptoms dissipate before returning to Little Buttercups. We are happy to offer you a makeup class if there is space available in another class. Please send us an email to check make up class availability.
