As your little buttercup’s playmate, you will be able to extend their learning to new levels as you support them through their developmental milestones in a playful, nurturing environment. Each class is designed to balance self-directed free play exploration with a whole group gathering time and always ends with a predictable closing time. These experiences will support the essential developmental learning domains while also building self-esteem and a long lasting love for learning.

Free Play Exploration
Every Little Buttercup class begins with free play exploration. This is a time for your buttercup to explore his/her new environment. Each week new learning opportunities will be offered to your child that will focus on the key components of development. These multi-sensory learning experiences will stimulate and challenge your child’s emerging skills in a fun, playful way. Our Free Play Exploration time also gives parents the opportunity to connect, share experiences and ask one another questions.
Gathering Time
The second component of our play program is gathering time. Playful songs, movement, instruments, and parachute play is made of this special whole group time. The pace of this time will depend upon the age of the group in order to accommodate their attention span and active curiosity level. Special props for each song/activity will also be used to keep little ones interactive and engaged.
Closing Time
We will always end our time together with a closing good bye song, bubble play, and a special Little Buttercups hand stamp.
